These Terms of Service govern your use of SpendLock, a personal finance habit tool designed to help reduce impulse purchases through delay-based decision systems.
Service Description
SpendLock allows you to log purchase intentions, apply cooling-off delays, set spending rules, and review spending behavior. All data is stored locally on your device.
Data & Privacy
SpendLock does not collect, transmit, or store personal data on external servers. All user data remains on your device unless you explicitly enable device-level backups.
Premium Subscription
Premium features may include advanced delay rules, deeper insights, and customization tools. Subscriptions are handled through Apple’s StoreKit and renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the billing period.
Billing
All payments are processed by Apple. SpendLock does not store or have access to your payment information. Refunds are subject to Apple’s App Store policies.
User Responsibilities
You agree to use SpendLock only for lawful purposes and not to attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or misuse the application or its features.
Availability
We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time to improve the app or comply with legal requirements.
No Warranty
SpendLock is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee specific financial outcomes or savings results.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SpendLock is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of the app.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the app if misuse or violations of these terms are detected.
